No matter where you're planning to travel, packing can be difficult. The vegan life has made it a bit more challenging when it comes to packing, but with a little advanced planning, you can comfortably travel as a vegan anywhere.

Meal Prep


When you're traveling, it's hard to find time to cook and eat healthy food when you're on the go. But if you prepare meals at home before your trip, it will save you a lot of stress. You can make sure that you have your favorite plant-based meals with you no matter where your travels take you, and there are so many delicious recipes on the internet you can try!

Always Bring Snacks


A packing tip for vegan travelers is to always bring snacks. It's a good idea to bring some vegan-friendly snacks with you when you travel, especially if you're going on a long trip or if you're traveling somewhere that doesn't have a lot of options for vegans. It's always better to be prepared and have something healthy on hand in case you get hungry when you're out and about in vegan national parks or museums.

Pack Smart


Packing for a trip can be stressful, especially if you're trying to stick to a vegan diet. The good news is that it's totally doable! Pack foods that have a long shelf life. Canned beans, nuts/seeds, dried fruit, and other foods like this will last longer than fresh produce or meat alternatives. Even better? Opt for something with an even longer shelf life, like rice or pasta.
